TreeStart BV respects the privacy of everyone who uses this website and treats the personal data you give us confidentially. Below you can read what data we collect when you use this website, why we do so and what your rights are.

This privacy statement applies to the services of TreeStart. TreeStart is not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites and resources.

What data we use

Business account and orders

When you apply for a business account or place an order, we ask for company and contact details: company name, contact person, email address, phone number, address and VAT number. We use this data to review your application, manage your account and handle orders, quotes and invoices.

The data is stored on secure servers of TreeStart or of a party that does this on our behalf. We do not combine it with other personal data we hold. Your password is only stored in encrypted form; nobody at TreeStart can read it.

Online payment

If you choose online payment at checkout, the payment is handled by Mollie B.V. (Amsterdam), a licensed payment service provider. You complete the payment on Mollie's secure payment page. We only pass the order number and the amount to Mollie; Mollie tells us whether the payment succeeded. We do not see or store your card or bank details. Mollie's own privacy statement applies to what Mollie does with your data.

Communication

When you send us an email or another message, we may keep it. Sometimes we ask for personal data relevant to the situation. This allows us to process your questions and respond to your requests. This data is also stored on secure servers of TreeStart or of a party acting on our behalf, and we do not combine it with other personal data.

Purposes

We do not collect or use data for purposes other than those described in this privacy statement, unless you have given your consent in advance.

Cookies

This website only uses functional cookies that are needed for the site to work. There are no analytics, tracking or advertising cookies, and we do not share data with third parties for statistics or advertising.

  • ts_sessie: keeps track of your session, so you stay logged in, your cart is kept and forms are protected. Expires 7 days after your last visit and cannot be read by scripts.
  • ts_taal: remembers whether you use the Dutch or the English version of the site. Expires after one year.

Because these cookies are strictly necessary, we do not ask for consent. Most browsers accept cookies by default; you can set your browser to refuse cookies or to notify you. Logging in and ordering will then not work.

Viewing, changing or deleting your data

You can view the personal data you have given us and have it changed or deleted. Your company details and orders are shown in your account under "My account". If you want something changed or would like a copy of your data, please contact us using the details below.
